As you may recall, there were 5 homing pigeons left in an opened aviary in the yard of a vacant home in Vallejo. MickaCoo is completely full with a waiting list but I have gotten a green light from the Marin Humane Society to bring these birds in to their care.

We need someone who can go there at dusk and close the aviary (with the birds hopefully roosting inside) and then either box them up and transport to Novato or keep them overnight and transport them in the AM.

These poor, abandoned birds are at risk, not only from lack of food and water, but from being killed by predators every night they spend in an opened aviary.

If you or someone you know is up for helping them, please contact me!
