Please Welcome Jaclyn- our newest volunteer

Hello- Jaclyn and her friend Rod have been VERY busy this past week and a half rescuing 13 (to date) king pigeons of 20-something that have been dumped at the Our Lady of Peace Church in Santa Clara. Prior to finding a king pigeon from the group that was being attacked by a hawk (Mogie who is recovering great), Jaclyn had never heard of king pigeons. She has joined MickaCoo not just as a finder but as a fellow rescuer- taking the injured and sick to vets, helping to build a cage for housing, fostering, fundraising and publicizing. Welcome, Jaclyn, and THANK YOU for helping these poor birds. MickaCoo would have been unable to take in so many without your and Rod's support. e -- Elizabeth Until they all have homes, don't buy, don't breed- adopt. www.RescueReport.org www.MickaCoo.org http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGjyooh3Yo0

Bravo Jaclyn and Rod for saving the Our Lady of Peace Church Kings!!! You guys
have been amazing and we welcome you to the MickaCoo family:)
Mogie, Paco and Lena are doing well and each day are getting a bit more relaxed
here in my aviary. They are very lucky birds!
Thank you!
All My Best!!

Hiya Jaclyn, It was terrific to meet you and see your rescues walk out into a beautiful new open safe space. It makes a difference in my life, too, to be around people who so care about the lives of these birds. zann From: Elizabeth Young Sent: Tuesday, October 19, 2010 9:46 PM To: MickaCoo@mickaboo.org Cc: Roderick Santos ; Suzanne Flusche Subject: Please Welcome Jaclyn- our newest volunteer Hello- Jaclyn and her friend Rod have been VERY busy this past week and a half rescuing 13 (to date) king pigeons of 20-something that have been dumped at the Our Lady of Peace Church in Santa Clara. Hi everyone,
Rod and I are so appreciative that Mickacoo has done so much to help us and
these birds. We wouldn't have even know where to begin if not for all the
help. We feel lucky to have learned about these special birds and to have
connected with such compassionate people like yourselves.
Thank you so much
