Hello- We've got lots more pij and doves coming in than we are placing with adopters right now and I feel like we're overwhelmed and need to institute a brief HOLD on taking in any more. If you learn of a pij or dove in need, please help to be creative in finding alternatives for the poor thing. I can tell you some of the shelters that are pij friendly and the webgroup Pigeon Talk at www.pigeons.biz/forums is always a WONDERFUL resource for anyone trying to help a pigeon or dove. Stay tuned. We're working on adoptions and we've got a couple more foster aviaries in development but right now, with more than 50 pigeons and doves on board and only a very small team of volunteers, MickaCoo needs to close to new intakes.
