They are being threatened with euthanasia at the shelter even though cutaneous pigeon pox is a mild virus that pigeons recover very well from. These birds are in San Mateo but transport can be figured out.

Please share and cross-post. These guys need sanctuary! It is so unfortunate that many shelter vets consider euthanasia a treatment for a sick pigeon.
