Re: [MickaCoo] [Mickaboo Discuss] Volunteers wanted

this is a BRILLIANT idea. thank you, Lynne!!! i hope each of the vet's
offices that you have identified get a designated volunteer who speaks in
person with the office manager! i'd also suggest adding Dr. Kureshi's
Cupertino Vet Hospital http://www.cupertinovet.com/ and the Montclair Vet
Clinic http://www.montclairvethospital.com/ in Oakland.

Sorry for the repeat message, but probably many of you are like me and must delete many messages unread. So I'm resending with a more specific subject. See below if you can help us get the Pepsi flyers to the offices of regional vets.

Four vets said "yes" to flyers, and 2 said "maybe" to the web link if we can work it out. No vet said "no" to flyers, but the other 6 have not responded. I think it will be worthwhile to offer flyers even to those who have not responded, as they may be willing but too buy to reply. We would like at least 1 person to volunteer to "adopt" each vet's office. The duties would be to take flyers to the office, post one flyer, provide a stack to be handed out to clients, and to check from time to time to see if the supply needs replenishing. Obviously, it would be easiest if the volunteer lives or works close to the vet's office. If you would be available to take on this simple but critical task, please let me know which office you can "adopt.". The 10 vets are Medical Center for Bird (Oakley), Four Corners (Concord), For the Birds (San Jose), Wildwood (Portola Valley and S.J.), Bay Area Bird Hosp. (SF), East Petaluma Vet Hosp, Santa Rosa Vet Hosp, Bird & Pet Clinic (Roseville), Madison Ave. Vet Clinic (Fair Oaks), VCA Cottage Hosp (Walnut Creek)

Lynne, it might be a good idea to tell us what the 10 hospitals are, since people are going to make suggestions. In the meantime, if Four Corners in Concord and Four Seasons in Lafayette aren't on this list, IMO, you should probably add them.
