I have none of the requisite skills, but I would love to see how an aviary is built . . . since someday in the near future, I'll have to be doing the same. If the date works, maybe I can be a grip or some other grunt worker. :)

I should have replied to the group too,

I am in on helping with aviary, open most weekends and do have some Fridays off!

I am planning to build a bigger aviary to foster a greater number of Kings in the summer as well, so if anyone is interested in this type of work, I would be very grateful for the help:)

Thanks and look forward to it!

Subject: [MickaCoo] Need volunteers

Hello!  I'm building a small, backyard aviary (trapezoid in shape in fenced corner 3’ x 6’ x 12’ at its widest) in Cupertino to help foster MickaCoo's homeless rescued pigeons and would really appreciate volunteer help with the following:

-help with light construction, experience with table and chop saws and/or drills and air staple gun
-help with painting – I have two coats to apply
-clean-dirt haul away (about 6" topsoil from approx. 50' sq ft plot)
FOOD & DRINKS PROVIDED

Please contact Cheryl at 408.257.8809 or email at clamminc@ix.netcom.com

Help with any part of the project will help MickaCoo’s pigeons sooner.

The pigeons AND I will be grateful:-)
Cheryl
