I've sent a note to PEAC in Alaska, Oasis, Gabrielle Foundation and Foster Parrots.  Here's the note below in case anybody else wants to copy/paste and send to others-

Dear Bird Rescuers,

You know better than most the value of what Mickaboo & MickaCoo do for homeless companion birds who are injured, sick, abandoned and in need of help in the Northern California Bay Area.  Mickaboo & 'Coo together pay avian vet bills that average $20K a month, every month.  Costs have increased 41% in the past year and donations have not kept pace.

You're already helping birds and here is another way- please vote for our grant!

We learned that there are actually THREE ways every person can legally vote for the Mickaboo/Coo Pepsi grant every day and with such a long climb ahead, we REALLY need everybody's support for the next 7 days!

Does someone have the time to contact some of these organizations and ask for votes?
 
Or maybe someone can organize collecting names of who could help, divide up the list, and provide a 'form letter'.  Then multiple people can share the load?
 
Unfortunately, I am not able to do that today.  I have already spent about 1 hour voting, leaving comments, etc and need to get some work done.
 
As I say, just trying to help us win that 50K....
