We in MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue works hard to save the lives of domestic, unreleasable birds that would otherwise be killed in shelters for lack of adopters and it takes a lot of "palomacy" (pigeon & dove diplomacy) to bring the plight and potential of these gentle birds into the public's awareness.
