Hi, Jolene-

Thank you for helping this poor bird.

It sounds like she needs to see an avian vet.  Is it a feral (wild) pigeon?  If so, WildCare or Wildlife Rescue of Silicon Valley or Dr. Speer in Oakley or Montclair Vet Hospital in Oakland would be potential resources for getting it help.  Also- I HIGHLY recommend Pigeon Talk webgroup (www.pigeons.biz/forums) as a resource for locating a private rescuer who might have the bandwidth to help.  (When you post there, please mention that MickaCoo referred you or they'll just refer you back to us.)

Unfortunately, MickaCoo is completely overwhelmed right now and swamped with domestic pigeons and doves and on the verge of having to implement a moratorium against intakes until more adoptions and more volunteer assistance can be developed.

I'm really sorry not to be able to offer better news.

If others can help, unofficially, that would be wonderful.

Found an injured pigeon, wings and legs seem fine. Very lethargic, won't take water or any food. Very shaky, and keeps stumbling in circles.  It keeps expanding it's wings and nothing appears broken.  Is this bird sick,  anyone have suggestions on how I can help it?
