How hard is it to care for doves? Do they live outside? I have a big backyard but not much time to devote.

Mickaboomer Camille is donating this outdoor cage to MickaCoo and it is PERFECT for fostering doves.  It has three compartments and each is roomy enough for up to 4 doves and, because it is divided, a new dove can be introduced and make friends with resident doves safely and without conflict.  It is predator and rodent proof and MickaCoo really needs it!  The cage is approximately 40" tall (interior height), 24" deep and 80" long and is galvinized wire (OK for softbills) .

 

But we need someone who will use it to foster doves!  Ms. Mary, our dove foster, has had to downsize and so we really need a new dove foster.  The cage is in Palo Alto and Katie has kindly offered to help transport it but it needs to get picked up and moved ASAP!

 

Many you have been following the tale of Pierre and Piper and here's a great chance for you to help some doves down on their luck.

 

Doves are easy to care for and each has it's own personality.
