Thanks. I've spoken with Roderick and he's only interested if I will just let him take birds out of the coop tomorrow. He feels like it's too much trouble to send me pix of his coop or do the online application or anything like that.
Elizabeth, there is a man in the area who knows those pigeons, and wishes to take about 50 of them. He knows the history, etc. He and his friends belong to a racing/show pigeon club in Conra Costa County. They are willing to take all the pigeons. Please call him at 510-815-1367. I didn't get his name. I think he said "Ray". My friend, Mac Williams, is also a member of that club, and can tell me how the birds are doing. He may also want some of the birds.

I just learned this from Berkeley ACS-"These birds were surrendered to us not abandoned. Fortunately. Legally he had 15 days to get them out of there but he didn't have anywhere to put them so, after some cajoling, he gave them up to me."

The ANA guy is no better. Using animals to gain "Luck". Damned primitive. Right up there with de fining sharks and killing bears for bear galls. All for some primitive superstition, or dick hardening folk med.
