Get your bird FREE UV light by taking them OUTSIDE for fresh air and some time in the SUNSHINE! Birds need full spectrum light to stay healthy. In the wild, birds are outdoors everyday. UVB light enables birds to synthesize vitamin D, which is essential for calcium metabolism and immune function. Outdoor sunlight is best. Give your bird a mist bath and further the benefits of the sun!

Safety Tips & Tricks

Provide access to filtered sunlight or shade. Always keep your bird in a cage or secure enclosure to avoid escape and injuries. Always have fresh water available. Never leave your bird where other animals can reach them. Monitor for signs of heat stress such as panting and opened wings. If necessary, move to a cooler location and mist with water concentrating on feet and under the wings.
