Mickaboo recently started bringing birds to the Walnut Creek Pet Food Express for every Basic Bird Class. I want to thank the volunteers who worked Saturday to allow people to see the birds we have for adoption. We had cockatiels attending with Monica, Neo the pigeon with Elizabeth and conures from the San Francisco flock with Chloe and John. Gabe was there also to help for the entire time. I am so grateful for the work and time they contributed so Mickaboo can continue to educate people about bird care and find homes for birds.
I also want to thank Steve Riddle for working on the new basic bird class in Tracy with me. He found a wonderful classroom and brings birds to the class. He has been a great help getting this class started. We have one adopter approved from the first class we had in April so it is off to a great start.
