This Thursday, I'll be placing 11 very lucky pigeons (7 that Marin Humane Society has been fostering for us and 4 from the Wulf foster aviary in Berkeley) and 2 doves (fostered at Filoli) in a wonderful new forever home. It is a Buddhist Retreat (Odiyan Retreat Center in Cazadero, CA). Here's some info about their aviary and pix attached- the size of our current aviary is 60 ft. x 80 ft. x 30 ft. high. it is in the forest next to our retreat center. There are about a dozen peacocks, a dozen golden pheasants and ~25 white ringneck doves. they have a lot of room to move and perch on trees.
