Hello-

You know me- I just have to share this!

20 minutes ago, I got a call from a man named Randy about a "green bird with a red beak" that he found.  (The flyers for my lost budgie Bodie are still up in spots throughout my neighborhood.)

I grabbed a couple of nets and towels and a cage and drove the 4 blocks to where he was at.

Randy had seen this bird and his coworkers wanted to try and catch it with a rake but he knew that would just "tear it up" so he cornered it and put his sweatshirt over it.

It worked beautifully because the bird was right where he left it when we got there.

I asked Randy to name the bird and he did- Tweety.

I told him that if there's a reward for reuniting it with her owner, he'll get it.  He's homeless but Tweety no longer is.
