The East Bay SPCA hosted a wonderful Adoptathon at Jack London Park in Oakland. It was a great event visited by almost 10K people and MickaCoo volunteers (6) and birds (6) were out in force to help inspire more adopters for all the many homeless domestic (unreleasable) pigeons and doves that would otherwise be killed in shelters for lack of homes.
