Good morning and Happy Friday everyone! I woke up in Awwww thinking about all the people who helped pick up, care for and transport MickaCoo's newest intake of Pigeons! It is an amazing process and coordination and even more amazing people, I have the honor of working with and sharing the universe with! Last night I picked up 4 Pigeons from Portola Valley. Louisa had rescued two Fantails pigeons Tina and Tony (East Bay) and has also had them medically treated and provided foster care and also medication for there continued care (BIG WOW). Two homing pigeons were picked up from San Jose Animal control at two separate times. Tina fostered a White homing pigeon Sqeaker for a few days and Cathy picked up the second homing pigeon yesterday and brought the angel to Tina. Next Tina drove both of the Homers to Portola, so I could scoop them up and bring them to Pacifica. Elizabeth came down to Pacifica and we looked them over and treated the white Homers for worms and bugs and are starting them on a 5&1 (5 day treatment) and they are in quarantine at my house. Elizabeth took the Fantails to San Francisco and is continuing there treatments there! That just puts you in awww! I am sorry if I missed anyone on the pick up of the first White homer baby! There may have been another MickaCoo angel who helped that I missed! I am trying to find ways to help MickaCoo even more. There is a program going on that all donations through July 31, 2010 up to $5000 is matched. I have donated some funds to get MickaCoo some of that match! I am also going to keep begging my friends to donate a little. It's raining pigeons and sadly they usually need vet care. So if anyone can pass on the word:) Happy Friday you Amazings!
