Frankie the baby pigeon is doing OK and Dr. Sanders "doesn't expect complications". He is still at Wildwood and today is in the loving care of our very own Louisa. His sutures are holding and feeding seems to be working (despite the injury along the way). Fanny is continuing to do well. They will be ready to come home tomorrow.
The Wildwood staff is going to give me some more training and switch me to a soft tube (rather than the gavage stem that I thought proper to use) so I may be able to resume hand-feeding but if there is a more experienced hand-feeder that would like to take these babies in for a week or so, please let me know.
