Hello-

MickaCoo was recently contacted by San Jose Animal Control Services to rescue a seriously injured (hawk struck) homing pigeon that would otherwise be euthanized.

Tina K was kind enough to rush out on a rainy night to pick her up from the shelter and then rush her 20 miles in the other direction to Dr. Sanders' where she required surgery to debried and close her wound.

This incredibly lucky-to-be-alive bird, named Raspberry, was then taken home for foster care by Louisa J and is healing very well thanks to all the quick care and ongoing TLC.
