Many have been trying for years to end the shooting of live pigeons* in Pennsylvania but now, thanks to <a href="http://www.sharkonline.org">SHARK</a>&#39;s most recent efforts and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFUDmBK7IF8&amp;feature=relmfu">video coverage</a> of the appalling and indefensible cruelty, there is more momentum than ever. <br></div><div><b><i>*These pigeons are brought in specifically to be shot for &quot;canned shoots&quot;. They are not wild or native but instead have been bought or trapped and brought in to PA where they are &quot;released&quot; from traps in the ground (dehydrated and weak from hunger) for shooters to use for live target games. Many are injured rather than killed outright and then the shooters stomp and kick the injured birds to death.</i></b></div>
