Dr. Speer has agreed to integrate "Thomas" the injured adult feral pij into his rehab and release aviary which, from my perspective is the best possible outcome. If Thomas IS releasable, he'll get to go free and be a pigeon like he was born to be. If not, MickaCoo will work to find him a forever home.
In the meantime, he is in the great care and high quality of life that Dr. Speer's R & R aviary offers.
