Urgent transport and foster- HANDLED! Thank you to MickaCoo foster (and rescuer or the 15 Our Lady of Peace Pigeons) Jaclyn! Ian, the hawk struck homing pigeon is now at For the Birds having his wounds tended.
Hello-MickaCoo is so, SO full with more than 85 pigeons & doves in foster care (and more looking to us to help them find homes) that, even if someone is available to pick up and transport this poor bird to an avian vet AND someone is available to foster him (indoors in a crate with heating pad & 2x daily meds) AND folks will donate on his behalf to pay for vet care, I hesitate to take him in. We really need help to outreach to potential adopters. MickaCoo works great when people are creating aviaries and new adopters are coming in but adoptions have been REALLY slow and we are maxed out on the numbers of birds we can care for.So. Is all that help available? This is the message I just got from SJACS.We have an adult White Pigeon at our shelter that has an injury to his front breast bone and feathers are missing, he is being treated by the vet, I was wondering if you have someone that can pick him up as soon as possible.I don't know any more than that. Please reply to me at AdoptKings@gmail.com if you want to help.Thank you.e

Until they all have homes, don't buy, don't breed- adopt.
