Hello-

 

I will be representing MickaCoo (along with some lovely pigeons) at the Solano Stroll in Berkeley on Sept 12 - a street fair 26 blocks long, bursting with family fun and education.  There will be a handful of rescue groups there - and we're one of them!  The fair runs from 10-6 pm. I'd love to have a helper or two and, if you're not already trained as a MickaCoo Adoption Fair Volunteer, this would be a great way to get trained.  Basically we introduce people to the joys of pigeons and doves and adoption, hand out flyers, take email addresses and answer lots of questions.  (Mickaboo will be there with parrots too.)

connectivity last year at the site was lousy I'm told

 -Wear comfortable clothing - weather is expected to be a high of around 66 degrees, and it will be chillier in the morning.
 -Bring something to eat, or money to buy food (we will have water)
 -Bring a folding chair if you have one 
 -Our booth is on Solano Avenue, between Ensenada and Tulare, opposite Bevel Salon (1722 Solano)

 -Public transport info = Use special event shuttle bus from the North Berkeley BART station to the Solano  Stroll. Here is a link to the
