MANY of the chickens, quail and chukars that Mickaboo helps to save from shelter euthanasia come from this twice-weekly market in SF.  And, after they end this cruelty, I&#39;m very hopeful that they will turn their attention to the heartbreak of all the baby king pigeons sold live for home-slaughter at the age of 4 weeks (that keep me &amp; MickaCoo SO busy).<br>

Plaza Farmers’ market manager Christine Adams and live poultry vendor Raymond Young to give them their final warning to comply with health laws, or have their permits revoked. We’ve been since documenting and reporting flagrant and defiant continued, while patiently waiting for the Health Dept. to proceed with enforcement.</span></p>

(Don’t worry about the future of the market itself – if the permit for the current nonprofit management organization is revoked, management would simply change over to the city’s Real Estate Division.)</span></p>
