Here’s news about the holiday party for those who are coming and those who
are deciding if they want to come or not –
- We crossed the 100-person RSVP mark yesterday!
- We’ll have a costume contest for adults AND children! With prizes!
The judges’ names are a secret….
- Potluck items and dessert items are welcome! (We changed locations to
enable Mickaboo people to bring their choice of food.) Potluck-bringers
will be rewarded with 5 FREE raffle tickets for every dish!
- Margie Gear, Louisa Jaskulski, and Marsha Bassett have done a
wonderful job securing raffle and silent auction items for us! Our raffle
and silent auction items include tickets to local attractions like the
Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Oakland Zoo, the San Francisco Exploratorium,
and the Palo Alto Junior Museum; getaways to the wine country and the
Monterey Coast; handcrafted jewelry and other items; and MORE! See our

supplies and food – look for her tables next to the toy sale racks!

Oh, and if you would like to volunteer at the holiday party… we could use
more help with the silent auction. We’re experimenting with a
more-organized way of doing it, and need folks to register bidders, to help
bringers of auction items to set up, and to help with bringing the won
