A San Francisco-based volunteer of Andy’s Pet Shop has set up an “animal fair” at Golden Gate University, 536 Mission St, San Francisco, Plaza level courtyard, March 22, 4-7 pm.
I'll be attending and wanted to invite others to join as well. It's fun to get out there and show off pigeons to people!
Fair to promote awareness of animal-welfare related issues and the non-profits and shelters that fight to help those animals. There will be tables set up for non-profit guests to occupy, while students faculty and staff will walk between. There will be other presenters at this event, such as the GGU Russian club, Indi club, sustainability and Japanese club. These student organizations will present animal-welfare issues relevant to their country or cause. There will be refreshments, coffee, and Jamba juice served. The tables are free, the event will be at no-cost to participants, and they will have the opportunity to promote their organization and their cause. These students may be interested in working for a non-profit or volunteer their professional services. It is up to the organizations/guests to determine how they will present their cause, and what they want to promote and to ask for- money, volunteers, accounting/marketing/PR/HR/ student volunteers, etc.
