Hello! I am fostering two lovely Doves called Sammy and Cassie who are now a very loving and bonded pair. I am working hard to find them a new home and/or foster until MickaCoo can place them. I love them lots and enjoy them, but they are taking up a much needed indoor pigeon cage which is actually my Pij hospital.
If you or anyone you know have a cage and can foster these cuties, I would be most grateful. I had an idea to work to find a foster that maybe interested in adopting in the future.
Sammy came to MickaCoo from a surrender and Cassie from the Silicon Valley shelter. They were both very lonely birds and since they connected they have been delightful to watch and even fairly quiet. Both are healthy and have a soft bill and do not require any special cages, they won't chew anything up nor do they even require much attention. Just some fresh food and water and light clean up each day.
If anyone can help or knows of a good potential adopter or need more info on what a dove requires, please email me.
