HI Elliot and Elizabeth,
These birds need some help. I spoke to a woman who teared up while speaking of her experience at
the Turtle Bay Exploration park in Redding.
Read her description below, it is quite unbelievable that this is happening so close to home.
"big birds like an eagle and a white owl with their feet tied to their stands in 100+ degree temps and other extremely inhumane things.
PLease let me know what and who can help with this and can IDA be a champion for these regal animals.
Thanks All,
Sherri

Subject: met at Deb party( birds abuse)

Hi Sherri
We met briefly at deb 's party yesterday...I mentioned about birds in cages and poor condition in redding area..it is the turtle bay exploration park..we visited this park in summer when the temperatures were reaching 100 degrees..the birds were outside in the cage..big birds like eagle, owl(beautiful white owl)..their feet tied to their stands(wondered why)...it wasn't a pretty site...you told me you had friends who are advocates for these kind of animal abuse...can u see if something can be done..ask them if they can visit and personally see this..infact my friends mentioned you can read some of the negative comments about the poor condition the birds are in on web itself...
This has been haunting me since my visit there..do help if you can...Nice meeting you..i took a lot at your site and
maybe in future would def try and be a foster
Thanks
