Dear Mickaboo & MickaCoo Supporters,

You already know that the birds we care for often come to us in terrible shape - sick, injured and in desperate need of expert avian vet care.  Your contributions have helped us to care for more than 350 abandoned birds this year and we deeply appreciate that generosity. 

That said, last year we saw a 41% increase in our veterinary expenses! For us to raise enough funds to keep up, we are having to become increasingly creative.  

This month we are competing in the Pepsi Refresh grant challenge and we have a real opportunity to win a $50,000 grant - but we need your help!  To win, we need YOU to vote for Mickaboo's grant proposal[4] every day this month. Please click here every day in the month of January - www.refresheverything.com/mickaboobirdrescue

As an all-volunteer organization, Mickaboo and MickaCoo have proven how extremely motivated and committed we are to helping birds that have nowhere else to turn.  We CAN do this if we all vote every day this month.  Pepsi will be awarding ten $50,000 grants at the end of January.  Let's win one for the birds!
