I do and I think Mickaboo is an AMAZING organization but we only have 5 reviews at the Great Nonprofits website. I think we need more! It will help us with a variety of fundraising efforts (stay tuned, more details coming soon) but really, I think it is only fair for all the incredible time, money, hard work, blood, sweat and tears everybody pours into this amazing organization that the world see how much Mickaboo is appreciated. I'll be sending this out to other folks that I work closely with (at SFACC & SF SPCA for example) and would encourage you to do the same to folks that you know appreciate Mickaboo but aren't on the Discussion Group lists. There's a duck like that at the Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary aviary in Stockton. His name is Don King and the rescued king pigeons that they adopted were very attracted to him. I was told the breed's name but have forgotten (crested?). Apparently breeding them that way also creates a very soft spot (or sometimes even a hole) in their skull. The Oakland Zoo has invited Mickaboo/Coo to participate in their Earth Day activities on April 17. It's an educational event with a twist - we're asked to have an "activity" at our table, which could be related to pet care, pet adoption, etc. Who would like to help represent our organization at this event?
