Fwd: [Mickaboo Discuss] Avian Rescue Group in Concord

see highlighted point below. i think what Mike is saying is true for many.
i think the Mickaboo Admins team is waaay out front of the Mickaboo General
Discussion group with who is saying what and why regarding the ban, etc.
i'd bet there are quite a few of our Mickaboomers that don't support the ban
(which is fine- free country) but think it's important that our best
communication be to our own members. i think everything we share with press
and blogs and such should be shared with the members first so they know
where leadership is at and aren't learning about Mickaboo from outside.
is Jonathan's piece ready for sharing?
or ???

We already have. I don't know about everybody else, but I'm getting about 200 emails a day
related to Mickaboo now. Trying to tell what I should read and what I will
have to ignore is difficult. When the topic of an email completely changes,
could everyone try to remember to change the title of the email. I know
it's a pain in the... [insert appropriate part of anatomy here] ... but it
would make all of our lives easier and make it less likely that we will miss
an email we would like to have read.
Nothing this media advisory group says is secret from our own people but I
would prefer that it not be shared willy-nilly with the media or the outside
world without Karen's agreement and a general consensus of this group. We
created the group so everyone on our Discuss list wasn't getting inundated
with ban email. Karen Watkins has been trying to recruit helpers on the
Discuss list also.
Please feel free to share whatever you think people might like to read. I'm
barely able to keep up with my job, three grandchildren, and a hell of a lot
of Mickaboo email these days. I'm not paying a lot of attention to who
reads what.
Thanks,
Michelle
