I’ve had two returned birds this year. Another good question might be how many foster homes have closed this year. Diana, Dorene, Jen… does Andy’s count?

I tweaked a query of mine to show all foster homes instead of all distinct cockatiel foster homes, and I got 137. This includes surrenderers fostering their own birds and does not include veterinary hospitals. See attached in case you ever wanted to see such a list.

Ballpark, 20 cockatiels in calendar 2010 to date, if that helps.
