Wonderful article. Often find these are the approaches, along with Vinny's press release, that provoke thoughtfulness without battering and finger-pointing. Speaking from a voice of personal experience is powerful, whether that voice is from the perspective of the humane veterinarian, conservationists, field scientists/researchers, rescue in general, and a foster-parent's individual experience, specifically.
