The Santa Cruz flock are the progeny of a pair of tiels bought originally from a "family" owned pet store in Santa Cruz.  When we got the 19 birds, they were suffering the effect of long term malnutrition and overcrowding.  One died, one almost died. 
 
We should see if we can get any information on where this new group came from originally.
