Does anyone have the cycles and desire to take on the below? Jonathan? Maggie? Patti?

This sounds like an opportunity for a well-written letter to either the editor or the writer of this article, on Mickaboo’s behalf. Here are some talking points:
1.) Most parrots (and most species of parrot-type bird) won’t survive outdoors after having lived in captivity.
2.) It’s illegal to release non-native species of bird to the wild anyway, and it may also be illegal from an animal cruelty perspective (needs research).
3.) The wild flocks do have some problems as non-native species
Does anyone feel like taking this on?
