I agree. As somebody else may have pointed out, “like”
on theftbook means that you are following somebody’s content, not that
you really like them or any of their content in the dictionary sense of the
word. I’m sure that Sarah Palin, for example, has many people who “like”
her because they want to know about it the instant she makes her next controversial
statement.
Some of us might say that Oasis has a checkered past, but I would
prefer seeing a position paper from their organization on the topic – or at
least hear specific comments in context, from someone who is empowered to speak
on behalf of the organization – before considering what positions they
most support.
