> how/where it might be posted and formatted
I am thinking of how our newsletter is formatted and wondering
if this could be done similarly. Specifically, have a main page that condensed each
of the “False” and “True” items into short, aphoristic statements of a sentence
or two, and then click to a “Read More” for the details.
This way, each true-false dichotomy could be expanded slightly
on its own page for the people who want to read the details (separating out
critical ideas into their own paragraphs for emphasis, as Patricia Blau
suggested recently), and the MTV / executive summary generation wouldn’t be
scared away by seeing so many words in one place. I am concerned that a large
portion of any audience is going to be of the “executive summary” ilk and is
not likely to read anything that’s too long.
A one-page flyer could have about the same detail as the main
page, maybe a bit more, with a link to the whole article for people who wish to
read further.
Thoughts?
