Marcy (SaveABunny) and 2 of her board members have joined on to Philip's ban work group.

Perhaps the Mickaboo effort could be folded in with that and any additional Mickaboo resources could stay focused on pro-Mickaboo stuff such as PR to raise funds, engage volunteers and develop adopters?

We started with a list a little longer than this and have two of us working to confirm which ones don’t sell pets. I asked for volunteers from our discussion group but didn’t get one response. We have to get going on this ASAP. My goal is to visit some of the businesses this weekend and ask for support.

HI All,

I think the place to go next is to get the stores that DO NOT sell animals to support the ban and also to show that small business in SF can and do thrive without selling live animals.

 

There are two tabs - one of stores that don't sell pets and one of stores that do.  So far, there are  more stores that do not sell any animals than those that do.  This is the start of the list, but it's probably best for you guys to confirm the info and talk directly with the store owners.
