Once we're talking, if he starts asking about the suit, I don't know that there is anything we can do to stop him from airing what we say, including:  "I can't talk about that, goodbye."  It's a risk.

Guidance, anyone?

Regardless of who asks us about the Spaid suit (I'll leave it to others to investigate this potential interviewer), could we not say something to the effect of:

Regarding the Spaid accusations, Mickaboo had the misfortune of receiving three cockatiels surrendered, with signatures attesting to it, that then became the focus of a custody battle in a divorce.  Mickaboo followed procedures and complied with the law every step of the way and the birds have been returned per the judge's decision.  Mickaboo's only interest in the matter was to uphold our responsibility to the welfare of the birds.  Slanderous things have been said about our organization and it is very hurtful to the volunteers who work so hard to take care of the birds that nobody else will.  Next question.
