Yee's stand on the shark fin and live animal markets seems centered very firmly on his Asian heritage, and in particular, in preserving ancient Chinese traditions irrespective of how cruel and primitive those traditions might be. So it's hard to say how he would vote on a pet sale bill, although this obviously does not bode well.
