I respect their forward thinking.  Hindsight is always 20-20.
They've worked so hard to create these fantastic species-specific aviaries (last I looked was for Greys and Macaws).  They are WONDERFULLY planned and executed for birds who really enjoy each-other's company and not that much interested in human-parrot interaction.

It's something I wish Foster Parrots (was in MA, now in NJ) would consider.  They just moved from one "warehouse" (farmhouse) situation to another, newer/bigger "warehouse" ....actually, I don't want to go down this road.  It's obvious Marc loves birds, but....

I agree. As somebody else may have pointed out, “like” on theftbook means that you are following somebody’s content, not that you really like them or any of their content in the dictionary sense of the word. I’m sure that Sarah Palin, for example, has many people who “like” her because they want to know about it the instant she makes her next controversial statement.

Some of us might say that Oasis has a checkered past, but I would prefer seeing a position paper from their organization on the topic – or at least hear specific comments in context, from someone who is empowered to speak on behalf of the organization – before considering what positions they most support.
