Anyway… who’s following on this idea? Patty B? or are we just yammering?
I’m not running with this, but it seems to me that the first thing that must
happen for this to work is that we need to know what theaters will be running
I'd be willing to take a few shifts in the Sac area.

the movie in greater Bay and Sac’to areas. We would probably need to know this
at least 3 weeks before opening night so that we’d have time to work with
theater management to get their signoff and arrange logistics. And, we would
need at least one local point person and some volunteers for each theater. I’m
thinking two volunteers per screening, with volunteers taking shifts, so at
least 4-6 volunteers per theater that we want to work.
Most movies don’t stay on the big screen for longer than 5-6 weeks anymore, and
most taper down dramatically after their opening weekend. So we need to be ready
on opening night or we will risk greatly diminishing returns on this effort.
Patty, do you know whose buttons to push and how to push them to find out where
a movie will be playing in advance?
