Vinny - I would recommend redoing the statement completely and focus the issue totally on the wonderful group of Amazons and macaws available for adoption. On Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 12:40 PM, 1217@vhrovat.org <1217@vhrovat.org> wrote:
From discuss list thread about Amazons:
Someone might also give some thought to writing up a focused "Ad" for the website home page.
Our out-facing web page still has the "moratorium is over" message, which has a focus on large birds:
"We still have some special challenges with our larger bird population. We have far too many macaws for our current supply of foster homes, for example, and we are having difficulties finding permanent homes for Amazons and Wild Flock cherryhead conures."
I can take a stab at modifying this to remove the moratorium reference and shift the focus more particularly on Amazons and Macaws.
Thoughts? Any talking points anyone would like to emphasize besides the obvious?
Thanks. --VH
