[Mickaboo Action] Time for a parakeet push -HELP!!!!

All, We are reaching a crisis point here in parakeet-land. DO YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT COULD FOSTER BIRDS FOR US? THIS IS A REAL EMERGENCY. Starting with the big birds first -- we have been slowly acquiring a backlog of ring necks, and there has been very little interest in adopting them. The newest case was just dumped on Kelly Sinn -- a baby (under a year old) yellow bird of still unknown gender that was hauled over to her house in the open back of a pickup truck. The bird does not appear to be tame, although he is still so traumatized, it is hard to tell for sure. Since the owner didn't want him because he made bird noises and threw food, the bird probably hasn't had much personalized attention. We also have a number of birds on our website that have not generated much interest and one, Ladysmith, whose temporary foster family is moving this summer. At the other end of the size spectrum, I have several budgies that are or have been sick that need to be moved from the vet clinics -- including one that should come out of Holly Street today, for which I have no foster homes. AND there are two budgies at the Silicon Valley Humane Society Shelter in Santa Clara that need to come out of the shelter. Please -- if you can think of anyone that can take any of these birds, please let me know. Michelle
