[Mickaboo Action] HOME VISIT REQUEST - Woodland, CA

Hello Everyone,
We have a PA that would be interested in adopting one (or two?) of our special needs Amazons. She is a registered vet tech and has a really great personality! Would anyone be able to do a home visit with her in Woodland? This is around the Sacramento area.
Thanks,
Katie F.

1. Foster homes still needed! (Ailsa) 2. Maggie May (Ailsa) Hi all ~
I'm still looking for a foster home for Dusty the Dusky Conure - and Maggie May who, it turns out, is a Patagonian Conure.
Maggie is the one who has some bad history - she was abused in her prior home - her surrender questionnaire reads "things were thrown at her, she was only fed seeds, had no toys or positive human interactions and her owner thought it was fun to lunge at her and scare her ... she didn't even have a stick to sit on." She was rescued by her current owner, but then they went through some very bad times (the bird wasn't hurt during this time - it was a situational issue that involved the prior home). All this lead to now where her human just isn't up to giving Maggie the love, affection, and out-time that she needs. Other info in the surrender paperwork is that Maggi has problems with her feet, so can't hold food in them while she eats, is about 15 years old, and right now rarely gets time out of her cage - and when she does it's only for a half-hour or so.
I'd love to see both of these birds in a foster home that can give them plenty of out-time, attention, and love.
Please let me know if you have the time and love to spare for either of these birds,
