Susan Z. just picked up a very sick Budgie from San Jose shelter. He is in dire need of emergency care but there are no emergencies available in the San Jose area who will see him tonight. If you can help by either driving him to San Francisco or Concord (where there *are* emergency rooms with doctors who see birds) or administer emergency care (fluids, maybe a tubefeeding) please e-mail back ASAP.
