[Mickaboo Action] Mickaboo stuff

Hello Mickabooers-- I just wanted to send out a note because we've had a couple of misunderstandings lately about what belongs to Mickaboo and what "goes with" a bird when they are adopted. Carriers and cages that are used by Mickaboo foster birds need to stay in Mickaboo inventory when a bird is adopted. New bird parents need to buy their own cage, carrier, playstand, et al for their new family member. There are exceptions to this---in some cases surrenderers want the bird's cage to go with him/her to a new adoptive home. If those cases, we generally ask the adopter for a donation for the cage. If you have any questions about what should go with a bird to their new home, please contact me, Bill Kennedy, or the species coordinator. If the equipment in question isn't in short supply, we're happy to pass it along where it's needed. Thanks for your help with this. --Nancy -- Nancy Powell Operations Manager Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue www.mickaboo.org

since we got her as a foster. We now have our SS cage and
need to return the loan. What should be do with it? We
can get it to Michelle's i am sure, if it's not needed
elsewhere.
