Hi! Some of you may have read the bio about Queeters, a big Blue & Gold Macaw that was surrendered last December. Queeters had lived in an environment of violence and abuse as demonstrated by "potty" mouth, loud and angry verbal threats, general demeanor, and self destructive behavior. After months of dedication and love from a wonderful foster family, Queeters is now "clown-like, interactive, talkative - calls people by their names, learns incredibly quickly and is really nice looking guy (might be female). Loves to eat socially . . ." quote from latest report from the foster mom. He also climbs on her and plays with her hair, talks to and dances with the kids. The mom also says Queeters is a major commitment and that she never lets down her guard with this big bird. Sadly, the foster mom is having some serious health problems and has asked that Queeters be moved to another foster home. If you are willing to continue the journey this foster family started with Queeters you will be delighted and forever changed by experiencing this big macaw.
