Hi! Mickaboo received a desperate plea TODAY from a woman with 4 large birds (2 macaws and 2 amazons) who will be HOMELESS this coming TUESDAY. Evidently she has been unemployed for a while, although looking for work, and is now faced with losing her apartment and will be out in the streets. She wants someone to provide care for her birds even if it means surrendering them. (I already said Why Did She Wait So Long?????) You have seen my pleas all weekend and I can not offer her any help. DOES ANYONE KNOW A POSSIBLE SHORT TERM SOLUTION IN THE MODESTO AREA? I have already checked and there appear to be no rescues in that area. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
