Hi again ~ The Dusky is a female, about 3 years old, and very well socialized. Her name is Pierre. The mother has medical issues and a tube in her head that means she has to keep things extremely clean. The moved their hamsters into the garage, the cats are now outdoor cats, and the bird only gets out-time with the 9-year-old daughter ... but since Mom wants to supervise that time, it happens very infrequently. She did say the bird can be loud - my guess is, as with so many birds, that yelling is due to going from a lot of socialization and out-time to spending her time caged 24/7.
